Years ago I filled out an employment application that had 30 interview type questions on it. When I was handed the application I was told to bring the application back in a week after I had finished it. I worked hard on my answers. I did not get the job but I discovered that I was performing much better in interviews. When I would answer interview questions I found myself drawing from the work that I had done in filling out that application.
In the same way you can prepare more effectively for interviews. From the list below pick what you feel are the 30 most important and most likely questions you could be asked in an interview and write out your answers. You may also want to come up with questions of your own that you think you could be asked in an interview. When appropriate also write out 2 or 3 examples because this adds credibility to your answers. Once you have a finished product, review your work often so that when you are under the pressure of an interview you remember the direction that you will go in when you are asked these questions.
